| |
You may expect the absolute best in service and products from Robert Westerman Photography. I will do whatever it takes to ensure your complete satisfaction. |
|
| Q. |
What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified? |
| |
Formal training at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, in Missoula, Montana. Several years apprenticing with Sally Harding (Treasured Image Photography) and Harold Tseu (To Have and To Hold Wedding Photography.) |
|
| Q. |
What packages do you offer? What are your rates? |
| |
All packages include unlimited time and coverage on the wedding day, engagement portrait session, and on-line proofing. Saturday weddings start at $2,500, and include $1,000 spending credit. Non-Saturday weddings start at $1,500. |
|
| Q. |
Do you require a deposit? |
| |
A deposit of $1,000 is due at the time of contract signing. |
|
| Q. |
How many pictures do you take? |
| |
Over the course of a 10 to 12 hour wedding day, I will take 2,000 to 2,500 images. These are edited down to the 500-700 absolute best. |
|
| Q. |
Can I keep the negatives? |
| |
Purchase of the digital negatives is available. Digital negatives are included free in some packages. |
|
| Q. |
How many weddings have you photographed? |
|
| Q. |
What is your photographic style? |
| |
A blend of hands-off photojournalism, magazine-style fashion photography, and relaxed, posed portraiture. |
|
| Q. |
Do you provide black and white photography? |
| |
All images are available in both color and black and white. |
|
| Q. |
Do you use digital or film? |
| |
I have been 100% digital since September, 2002. Since switching from film I immediately saw a marked increase in the quality of both images and prints, particularly large prints. |
|
| Q. |
Can I see examples of your work? |
| |
Absolutely! Images are available to view on-line, and I can send you an abbreviated portfolio straight to your e-mail address. Please set an appointment to come to the studio to view prints, framed artwork, and albums. |
|
| Q. |
How far are you willing to travel? |
| |
As far as you need me to go. |
|
| Q. |
How quickly will I receive my prints? |
| |
Prints ordered directly through the proofing website (www.Pictage.com) will be delivered in one to two weeks. Custom, specialty, very large, or quantity prints ordered through the Studio will be quoted for delivery time when ordered. Standard prints ordered through me can be rushed to same day, if necessary. |
|
| Q. |
What makes you different from other photographers? |
| |
Having all of the following together in one person:
PROFESSIONAL: Absolutely reliable; prepared; quick-thinking; service oriented; NEVER, EVER lose my temper.
ARTISTIC: Original, gorgeous images; I adapt my style to the unique circumstances of each event; most of all, the pictures will remind you of how you felt at each moment.
FRIENDLY: witty, laid-back, pleasant to be around. |
